Cassius Goens III is an Associate Lecturer of Music (Jazz Percussion) at Ball State University and an active performer, clinician, and educator across the Midwest. He performs with groups including the Scott Routenberg Trio and his own quintet Groove Theory, has appeared at international festivals such as Montreux, Vienne, and Perugia, and has recorded on over a dozen professional releases. Goens is an endorser of Sakae Drums and Remo and released his debut album Transition in 2011.
