About
Founded in 2014 by Oleksandr Stoianov, the Grand Kyiv Ballet is an independent touring company of Ukrainian dancers that presents full-length classical and neoclassical ballets. The troupe has toured widely (France, Europe, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand) with productions including Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker. Since 2022 the company has operated partly from Bellevue, Washington while fundraising and supporting Ukrainian ballet institutions such as the Kyiv State Ballet College.
