Michael Kosta is a former professional tennis player who transitioned to full-time stand-up comedy in the mid-2000s and hosts the podcast Tennis Anyone. He joined The Daily Show as a correspondent in 2017, has guest-hosted/rotated as host, won two Michigan Emmys for his Fox Sports Detroit work, released the one-hour special "Detroit. NY. LA." in 2022, and published the memoir "Lucky Loser" in 2025.
