When the universe began, there was only a chasm so immense that even the gods would become dizzy looking into it, known as the Ginnugagap. It was here that Yggdrasil â€" the World Tree â€" would lay down its roots. Raventhule, through the pathways of Black Metal Art and Folk Music traditions will explore those roots that Yggdrasil put forth. The ambient textures inspired by the minions of Loki's madness and elements of dark electronica will represent the Tree of Woe and Odin's wanderings throughout the Nine Worlds. I am Koth and I play guitar in the band Abythos and I also am the creative vision for the band Invoken. Raventhule will be a departure from both of those bands in its explorations throughout the Nine Worlds of Ultima Thule.
