Free Days for Teachers

PreK−12 teachers from Indiana public and private schools can receive one free adult admission ticket on the day of the Free Day for Teachers event. School and district professionals, such as principals, coaches, multilingual assistants, classroom aides, and counselors, are also eligible with a valid Indiana school or district staff ID badge. We acknowledge that there are many different professions that educate children, including home educator parents and guardians, but the purpose of these discount days is to allow classroom teachers to visit the museum to experience the exhibits as a preview before bringing groups of students and chaperones on a school fieldtrip during the school year. The discount does not include homeschool parents, out of state teachers, or day care/childcare workers. No pre-registration is required. Visit the museum on a Free Day for Teachers date, and show your valid educator/staff ID badge from an Indiana school at the Box Office to receive your ticket for that day. Of course! If you bring your teacher friends and colleagues, they also need to bring their school staff ID badge. If you bring family members, children, or other guests, you can purchase regular price tickets online or at the Box Office.
