Whether you’re new to Gmail or looking to sharpen your skills, this class will give you the tools to take control of your inbox and communicate in the digital world. By the end, you’ll feel confident navigating Gmail, managing messages, and using its features to stay organized in your daily life. Once we cover the essentials, we will discuss when to reply, reply all, bcc, and cc in your emails. We also guide you through how to more quickly find and organize your mail.

Compose, send, and organize emails with ease
Utilize filters, favorites, and labels to declutter your inbox
Attach files, photos, and documents securely
Schedule emails

Crafternoon at West Indianapolis

Crafternoon at West Indianapolis is an arts and crafts club. You can bring your current creative project to work on or use our supplies to start something new! Everyone is welcome. Join us every Monday at 2:30 p.m. for an afternoon of crafting, conversation, and being creative.
Waterway Exploration

Explore the world of waterways by tackling hands-on challenges that uncover the power and complexity of rivers. Build bridges and dams, design a boat, and test your creativity and problem-solving skills. This program is designed for kids ages 6-12.
Books & Rooks Chess Club

Would you like to gain experience playing chess? Are you already experienced but looking for another outlet for over-the-board chess? Books & Rooks Chess Club is here for you! With casual play and an unrated tournament (free and open to everyone, no USCF membership required), Monday night is chess night at Central Library!
Drop-in Craft at Haughville

July: making your own stamp/creating a linocut print of your own.
August: camp crafts; including friendship bracelets, fortune tellers, and more.
September: watercolor painting.
October: paper dolls.
November: crochet and knitting.
December: holiday card upcycling.
Craft drop-in is located in the community room, on the left side of the hallway after you enter the building. To your left when you enter will be a variety of craft options, coloring pages, and activity books available to grab from the table and sit anywhere available on the other side of the room with. Staff will always be available in the room to walk you through how to complete the crafts and to answer any questions.
It tends to vary in noise level, typically louder when younger children attend, but each time we do have calm instrumental music playing in the background. We have fidget toys, noise-cancelling headphones, and sunglasses available for use during the program for anyone who wants to!
Black Author Book Club

3D Printing at Central Library

Introduction to Debate - Part 2!

Qi Gong & Meditation for Everyday People

No special knowledge or experience needed. Come as you are.
Qigong: We’ll find ease and strength in the body through a series of flowing movements set to music. This practice is all standing (seated is also ok) and suitable for a broad range of abilities and body types. No mats required.
Meditation: Sitting in the quiet, returning to ease in the body and ease in the breathing. You are welcome to sit on the floor, in a chair, or lie down. There’s nothing to achieve or attain.
Sharing: At the end of practice, there is time to share reflections, feelings, and questions and hear what others have to share. It's ok to just listen, too.
