Chair yoga is a relaxation that also energizes body and mind by connecting breath to stretches and gentle movements. This activity improves posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and mind/body awareness. It helps to promote more steadiness and confidence in one’s body along with an overall sense of well-being and peace. We will have intermittent meditative music to accompany the class and close with a brief meditation.

In this session, join us in our computer lab to learn about Excel, including how to navigate the software, insert a function, and basic data entry. This program is geared toward seniors and adult learners with little to no computer experience but have a strong desire to learn. Some experience with Microsoft Word will be helpful and allow you to make the most of the program.

Connection Cafe

Everyone needs connection - even if you just need a safe space to sit with others without needing to talk. This hour is for YOU. LaDonna hosts this space with a lot of creative, supportive, and engaging ways to feel welcome and "seen".
In 2026 each month will have a different theme guiding the structured activities. All skill levels are welcome and activities can be adapted. However - participation is always optional. If you just need a warm space to be near others or have some conversation, that's fine! This is a safe space to share your struggles, talk about your favorite sports team, or just listen to others share about their interests.

Join Amy for chair-based yoga especially designed for caregivers to practice your breathing techniques, and improve your heart rate, mental focus, and relaxation. Sunny Play

During Sunny Play, your young child will have opportunities to explore natural materials, for sensory experiences, to play with loose parts, to create art, and to play make-believe.
Sunny Play is a busy program that is moderately noisy with focused, high activity in groups with plenty of calmer individual play spaces.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of PLAY, READ, TALK, SING, and WRITE, which are essential habits for getting ready to read as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.
Caregivers - You, too, will have your own table to enjoy a calming activity and an opportunity to mingle with other grownups.

Career Center is a program for adults to get assistance with creating resumes and cover letters, searching for jobs, and job applications. Laptops are provided but patrons are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. No registration is required.

Microsoft Excel, Week 3: Working with Data - Filter and Sort
Discover the basics of how to use Excel to effectively display, sort, and analyze data. Understanding of Weeks 1 and 2 content is required for this session.
You must be comfortable using a mouse (clicking, double-clicking, and right clicking with accuracy), typing with a keyboard, and navigating to websites to successfully complete these classes. Participants may also benefit from pre-requisite knowledge of OneDrive; You are encouraged to explore the free set of lessons on OneDrive linked here from GCFGlobal.

Home Repair Scams and Contractor Fraud

Join a staff attorney with the LAVA Project (Legal Assistance for Victimized Adults) from Indiana Legal Services to learn how to spot predatory contractors, what warning signs to look for before signing anything, and what legal options exist if you have already been a victim of this type of fraud. This session will include practical tips for hiring contractors safely.
