Indy Black Climbers x L8 Climb Instructor: Jai-Lyn N. Join Indy Black Climbers x L8 Climb for an Evening of Community and Climbing! Indy Black Climbers is a group that seeks to expand access to climbing for the Black community in Indianapolis. We are committed to eliminating barriers that may prevent us from getting involved in climbing and enjoying outdoor spaces. Whether those barriers be from stigma, harmful stereotypes, financial strain, or other reasons, Indy Black Climbers wants to help members of the Black community overcome these barriers so they can enjoy the sport of rock climbing! We are proud to partner with L8 Climb,in partnership with The American Climbing Project, helping to shape a healthier, more equitable and inclusive climbing community. L8 Climb prioritizes providing ‘Pay What You Can’ admissions and rentals at partnering local climbing gyms welcoming: Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQIA+, and adaptive climbers First-time or new climbers Climbers lacking financial resources Together, Indy Black Climbers x L8 Climb are committed to creating a safer, more inclusive climbing environment where underrepresented voices are empowered, community is built, and we learn together.
