Actor and funnyman Eddie Griffin’s raw and unapologetic comedy blends frenetic physical antics with sharp social commentary, pop-culture satire, and personal storytelling. His first love had always been dance, and at the age of 16, he opened his own dance studio. Voted class clown three times in high school, Eddie’s life would totally change when his cousin dared him to go on stage at the local comedy club and do a 3-minute set. He performed off-the-cuff for 45 minutes. It was such a side-splitting success, that Eddie purchased a one-way ticket to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional stand-up comedian.
As an actor, Eddie is best known for his roles in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Norbit, Scary Movie 3, A Star is Born, and the hit TV series Malcolm & Eddie.
