Whimsical Winter Play: An Early Childhood Experience

Join us for a delightful morning with early access to WinterSlide and WinterFaire, then explore winter-themed activities designed specifically for you and your children 5 and under. Skip the crowds, not the fun, as you make memories with your family. What You'll Do Enjoy exclusive early access to the museum’s most festive attractions—before we open to the public! Glide down the WinterSlide, our giant indoor snow slide experience. Explore the enchanting sights and sounds of our WinterFaire exhibit. Get groovy at our bubble dance party to end the event. Where You'll Go WinterFaire WinterSlide Sunburst Atrium Mezzanine Registration Details This program is designed for children ages 5 and under; therefore, every child participating must be registered no matter their age. This event does not include nonmember museum admission. If you have purchased tickets to the museum or have a membership, you are welcome to stay in the museum after the events ends at 9:30 a.m. Please note the entire museum will be open beginning at 9:30 for school groups and event participants with museum tickets. The Carousel will open at 10 a.m. The WinterSlide will close at 9:30 a.m. and reopen at 10 a.m. Whimsical Winter Play is a special ticketed event, which does not include nonmember general museum admission. Your ticket includes event access from 8:30-9:30; you may stay after 9:30 a.m. with purchased admission tickets or membership. No, Santa is not included in this event experience.
