Career Center at East 38th Street 11:00am - 2:00pm East 38th Street Branch Made possible by Office of Lawrence Township Trustee Steve Talley through a grant to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. Near West Job Fair 11:00am - 3:00pm Haughville Branch We will be having a job fair at the Haughville Branch library. We will have a variety of employers represented. The career center will run concurrently to help with resumes and job applications. Microsoft Word 11:00am - 12:00pm Martindale-Brightwood Branch Join us the third Wednesday of the month to learn about Microsoft Word. In our computer lab, learn about functions like how to create a new document, change font, and save your progress. With a small class size, we'll be able to build a strong foundation in one of the most widely used word processors. No prior experience necessary! ABCs of Diabetes 1:30pm - 3:00pm Online The ABCs of Diabetes program is accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialist. This four-part series includes instruction on medications, nutrition, exercise, monitoring, complications and available community resources. This program is free and open to anyone with diabetes, pre-diabetes, family members and friends. Use these book lists to learn more outside of the class.
