The Indiana Historical Society is housed in the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center on the downtown Canal and serves as the organization’s museum, library, and event hub, with exhibits and programs that bring Hoosier history to life. Opened in July 1999 as IHS’s 165,000?sq?ft headquarters, the complex also includes the intimate Frank and Katrina Basile Theater (about 290 seats) and Eli Lilly Hall. Set within the Canal and White River State Park cultural district, it’s walkable to neighbors like the Indiana State Museum and the Eiteljorg Museum.
