The Slippery Noodle is home of the Blues in Indiana with live local, regional, and national bands seven nights a week. Two bands are featured every Friday and Saturday night on two separate stages. Musicians who have played there include Luther Allison, Magic Dick, Jay Giles, John Mayall, Albert Collins, Buddy Miles, Charlie Musselwhite, Junior Wells, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, James Cotton, Yank Rachell, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and Johnny Clyde Copeland to name just a few. In 2013 the Slippery Noodle celebrated it's 50th Anniversary.

Parking

Small on-site customer surface lot for patrons at 372 S Meridian St (approx. 48 spaces; customer parking only). Additional paid garages and lots are within a block, including Union Station Garage (301 S Meridian St), Blue Garage at Circle Centre (26 W Georgia St), the World of Wonders Garage (130 S Illinois St), and the Meridian & South Street Lot (365 S Meridian St).

Public transit

IndyGo local bus routes serve the immediate area, including Route 31 – US 31 and Route 16 – Emerson with stops at or near Meridian & McCarty/Sycamore (one block north of the venue). The Julia M. Carson Transit Center (downtown hub with connections, including the Red Line BRT) is about a 10-minute walk northeast.
